Phew, at least you are reading my blog.
In the world of small business content marketing, everyone has an opinion on blogs. Any of this sound familiar?
You should have one. It's essential for your website. You need to blog everyday. Didn't you read it on 'so and so's' blog? A blog must be well researched. A blog should be short and to the point. You didn't research your keywords? Google magnet. It has to have pictures. Hire someone to do it for you. Sell sell sell. Don't even mention your product. Say what you think. Don't ever speak your opinion, only the company opinion. Be anonymous. Make sure you have a picture.
And now I shall reveal the rocket science:
It's like every other kind of marketing thing ever.
Who is your target market?
What is it going to achieve?
How will you know if it is working?
You need to tell people about it and link to other things you do.
How will you make it unique to you?
It has to have a purpose, or no one will read it.
