Here's the purpose of Marketing Voodoo: Assume small business is the future (economic/ lifestyle). Someone could filter the opinions, consultants, blogs, resources and tools under the general banner of 'marketing' into something more manageable, yet informed, to make better choices for your business. And here I am, spending all this time exploring the opinions, consultants, blogs etc, so it's finally dawned on me to share it...
It will probably be a bit marketing geek-like. Tempered with my insatiable need to only do stuff that makes commercial sense. I have no intention of being objective, as I have spent 15 years sharpening my marketing opinion. But I do like to be fair, and those of you who know me will know I have a penchant for debate. I am striving for simplicity and clarity. I want to improve my general brevity without losing substance. I foresee the invention of some sort of 'at a glance' formats...
I aspire to this blog becoming Marketing Voodoo for you. A true snake oil. A helpful spice to add a depth of flavour to what you are cooking up.
I'm expecting the passion I feel to shine through. I'm opting to focus on content before design. And you have my assurance that each piece will be written for me. As I want to know the information. If you do too, then FABULOUS. The blog will live.
